yo. dude you cannot put 16valve pistons into a 20v block.also the silvertop and gze both share the same bottom end so you dont need what you think you need. the silver top can be supercharged as is but get some more advice from the guys.

Actually boss all I want is the connecting rods, I just did not think that whoever had them would sell separate without the pistons!
I would never have guessed that the 16 valve pistons would never fit in a 20 valve!
ha ha ha 8-)
Fellas your point of view on this topic will be welcome as I have soon to acquire the supercharger which comes off a 4AGZE by the way

Dudes , both the 20v and 16v share the same bore and stroke :81mm &77mm respectivley , the GZE piston has a recess in it to allow for lower compression than the slightyly domed 20v silver top piston. As the for 'ZE' rods and the Silvertop they are the same in terms of the big end area and possibly the little end as well.

thanks Smokey 4 d advice!
well let me clarify about my project!
I will be geting the supercharger soon but I will be building the project next March or April when hopefully I should be in posession of my 2008 Corolla Dual vvti!
I am simply acquiring the parts for the build and for some experimentation!
Both the GZE and 20 valve rods are the same length but due to the uncontrolled nature of supercharge boost(as opposed to turbo) and the fact that its also continously running, makes my mechanic and I feel the rods will be a good idea!
I will be asking for other stuff soon as the need comes along!
and I will keep the forum posted!

hey i have a blacktop 20v and some guys from the US in the 4age club who rebuilds the engine told me to do more than 200hp use 4agze pistons for lower compression and 4agze rods so i can add turbo to cross the 200hp bro if you want to boost your silvertop i suggest you leave your rods as they are stronger than the blacktop use the 4agze pistons and add TURBO.....superchargers are dead asf the blacktop SR20 would destroy your silvertop under a supercharger however under turbo would be a different story because you can add how much boost you want also the 4agze is dead compared to a 4age 20v blacktop thats turbo...the blacktop under the 4agze pistons and rods with turbo will do almost 300hp. you can boost your silvertop just like that but you won't get anywhere near that speed with a supercharger....hope that helps
