Them turbo timer does be nice but really after 3 years or so they does be problematic.

Never me and them thing in anything I own.

Not messing with the security system in the Toyota either. Super reliable

Changed my fuel filter last weekend after 10k.

got a little water(dark brown) in the trap but expected more.
I only fill at st christopher's wrightson road,
at approx 730km/tank this would be about 13-14 fillups.

I was supposed to drain it last oil change but skipped.

there was the usual slime at the bottom of the filter housing which required a paint brush and kerosene to cleanout.

I haven't looked for the drain plug as yet... I saw on the panel before the radiator has a sticker saying, that the coolant is good for 160,000km... But u know km vs age is a factor...
I was just looking at the part numbers for the thermostat and gasket...

I changed at 150000. No loss of colour nothing. Heading close to 300000 will change at that again .

I always keep a bottle handy just in case since I read that you should put no water are all when you using Toyota original coolant

But doesnt the level vary at times since the coolant moves from the bottle to the engine and back...one day the bottle was low...was about to top up...forgot..
Next day it was back up to high...so if i had topped up it would have been over full....

It isn't an overflow bottle... The pressure cap is on the top of that reservoir...I don't know if it is a hot level but the mark that I fill up to is about a third of the way up the side of it.

Got the miccon turbo timerbinstalled today at the expensive electrician on my side.
Carried my own t-tap splice connectors, so no wires got cut.

Also installed these 2 units:
Temp/volt meter and a 2.1A USB charger with an outlet for audio (to connect to a new head unit in the future)

Voltmeter usb from amazon.
Turbo timer is miccon, from ebay.
He charged me 300.
Dash wasnt removed, just the cowl behind the steering and the switch panels.

I have it set for 2 mins now.
This timer can switch off the vehicle immediatley after removing the key by either dropping the handbrake or pressing the button on the timer. You can also just start it back if its runnin by turning on the key and it will restart the timer and continue running as normal.
Not using the auto mode so it strictly on manual timer mode now.

Mines on Auto. On the highway the most it would count to is 4 min, but at a light it will cool to 2 min. Most of the times it does be at 2 min.

Lol
No
The little handbrake logo that lighs up when u pull up the handbrake

This: (!)

The signal that is send to turn on this light was used as the safety for the timer. If it isnt active ie. If the handbrake lever is down, the timer wont operate.
