the oil filter is YZZD2

the fuel filter is almost $400 by toyota, $225 by bobbys

a common interval is to change the fuel filter every 10k/2 oil changes
and drain every time and wash out the canister with kerosene as it gets some slime sludge buildup at the bottom
along with the water and soy sauce

you can make up a little hose to fit the nipple and into a soft drink cap and use a small bottle like chubby to drain into.

I trust the Sakura brand for air... Not so much for fuel... Especially when the fuel system components cost so much....I will buy the original and wait for my dashboard light... Not planning to spend money unnecessarily

I hate a dashboard light...so i dont think ill wait on that...especially since our fuel here are know to contain water and not clean ...i rather change it out every two oil changes..
The sakura filter works fine...looks almost the same like the original..if we can use a sakura air filter whats the problem with sakura fuel.filter?.
I rather purchase the original oil filter...matter of choice i guess..

Just to clarify...I drain the sedimentor every oil change...I wait for the solid light to replace the fuel filter... I have no problem with the air filter but a problem with fuel filter because of the difference in operating pressures. Fuel is at a much higher pressure and the fuel system has much smaller tolerances. I fill up at unipet and those 30 micron filters make a big enough difference.

I moved away from the original oil filters when the filter material started to look more like aftermarket filters vs the unique made in Japan foam type oil filters.

Then again to each his own her own.

Just a bit off topic here....
But turbo timer: is it necessary?

IDK nah, I took front.... Have one of these... It calculates as you drive, so anywhere from half of minute to 4 minutes.

While it doesn't need a timer it still requires a cool down period...I just show down as I get to my destination and wait while it idles and cools down

I have an oem timer...original fit....i set it tk automatic but sometimes it idles for 3 minutes which i find is kinda long cause the run wasnt all.that.....a couple times the timer failed in that tha van didnt cut off at all remained idling until i came back to it...so i decided to set it for one minute....so when i reach my destination and switch off i am close enough to.the van to make sure it cuts off....the manual says one minute is fine enough

I do this currently
But i may invest in the turbo timer as i usually does be pressed for time and in and out of the vehicle.

The manual has nothing on servicing or replacing the fuel filter if I recall correctly.

How is this connected?
Does it need to be wired in or does it plug in?

I am seeing a more expensive package of the same item with a plug in adapter thingy...

I think it was wired in. I just bought it and carried it by the electrician. Cam with English instructions. He had a few thing to install, so I just left the van for the day and came back.

So the manual states
Transmission - Toyota type t-IV 10.7 quarts
Transfer case - gl4 or gl5 gear oil 75w90 1.1 quarts
Differentials - gl5 gear oil 75w90 limited slip; rear 3.5 quarts, front 1.7 quarts

So personally I use
Transmission - Mobil 1 ATF 3309
Transfer case - Mobil 1 75w90 limited slip
Front and rear differential - Valvoline 80w90 limited slip
