I’ve seen where they say never open the flap of the throttle body because there are gears in there that can be damaged by opening with your hand

You need to put a spacer on the secondary O2 sensor as that is not supposed to be in the direct path of exhaust gases.

Would the spacer be something i need to purchase or can be made? The reason is the muffler shop place the o2 in a cylinder kinda housing and drill a hole in it. But that didnt work.

I have a fielder wagon 141. doing 255k and ready for an oil change. currently using np 10w30 (10000km). ready for an oil change and was recomended to use amsoil/mobil 1 20w50. should i stick with 10w30, move up a bit to 10w40 or is 20w50 appropriate? do a lot of driving, particularly highway. any suggestions on grade and brand?

If no burn off then stick to what works.
Only with some burn off then up the body a bit.

Bumping this thread

CVT in reverse starting to slip but car doing over 250,000kms so I am not disappointed. I visited Chag Auto Supplies and was told that cvt need repairs. But those guys have a bad rep over the years so I am not willing to repair my vehicle by them. So the questions are:
1. Where can I source a transmission and price?
2. Should I repair it and who does efficient work?
Any response would be greatly appreciated, please
Thanks

Last I heard used replacement was same price as rebuilding.
I always rather rebuild what I have than buy used once it can be rebuilt.
The con is downtime.
