what type of engine oil to use...it has a cvt transmission........

I use mobil 1 in my 141,
you can get the toyota tc cvt oil at parts marketing opp holiday foods on el socorro main rd $570/pail

front brake pads were hard to find and expensive a while ago
only found wagner for $300+
I did not find the rear shoes but hopefully somebody has in stock soon

Currently service a significant number of both 1.5 and 1.8 'new model' Fielders in my network and all original consumerables in-stock.
Vehicles pose absolutely no terrors to us.
Presently,importing a new cvt tranny for first time client who unfortunately has been a victim of previous repairers who just learning about these vehicles as they go along.
The client insisted on a brand new unit complete with torque converter.
These vehicles just don't take kindly to average maintenance stds. over the medium to long term.

recently purchase a 141 NZE TOYOTA FIELDER WAGON 2007 . the mileage is 40,000. when should i change the transmission fluid.

civic2281: If you have the CVT transmission, u should change your oil ASAP and especially so since it's a foreign used...

civic 2281: To be honest I've never had a look at a manual for the transmission; not sure if anyone else can advise accordingly... However, I had my oil changed at State of the Art Auto in Chaguanas and they advised me to change it every 40,000 km however higher up on this same thread it was indicated that the oil should be changed every 30,000 km.

hi guys, just bought two nze141 fielders. didnt recieve them yet. of course they are foriegn used. are these cvt transmissions? if so, should i change the oil and where is the best place to do so?
