@BigZ I can't get a proper name for it from anyone, but it's the connector on the transmission that the harness plugs into. The wires go into the tranny and connects to the valve body

Does anyone know when you are supposed to change the fuel filter in the gas tank? Was told to do at 100km.

@ Tantos23...sorry to be the bearer of bad news...seems like your tranny is going bye bye. I would start by flushing the tranny fluid (use original type IV toyota fluid) and putting in a conditioner, like the Lucas Transmission Fix (this is sold on the backroad that connects the road from the Freeport flyover to the the Preysal/Couva flyover...There is a parts place that sells lucas stuff on the right if coming from Freeport, just after the cemetery, and before the small bridge). This worked wonders for my tranny which was badly slipping. Good luck. Other than that, you may need to rebuild/replace the transmission.

Hey guys just bought some castrol 10w30 synthetic oil for 1nze engine. Doing 180k not burning any oil. Is this oil suitable? The manual doesnt specify if to use synthetic or not.
Also bought 5 quarts of toyota tranny fluid. Would this be enough to do a drain and re-fill?
Thanks

If it not burning oil stay with 10w-30 but I tend to stay away from Castrol. I use Valvoline or Mobil One. No issuses
Toyota Tranny oil Type -IV or VI, check the dipstick, 5 Qt used to drain and refill. 8 Qt to Vacuum.
Toyota or Honda Coolant work fine.

Tantos23 U need to rebuild or replace tranny. Rebuild costs in the region of 3500 and last i checked, foregin used tranny hard to find and was 4500.
I rebuilt mine by Singh in bpore.
In the mean while, add some brake fluid to tranny oil. It may be to late already though.

Toyota 2nr, what's the issue with the old compressor? Internals, bearing or pulley?
