Presently the following is not working, gas and temp gauges, speedometer and tachometer, power steering, engine check light is on, over driver not working, sensor for the seat belt not working and light remains on. Also my music makes an annoying noise upon switching off. I purchase a used instrument panel but got no favorable response. Any help is needed. Thanks much.

This can be a groundin problem. Try cleaning your ground pole and add another ground wire to the body of the car or preferably to the engine on any bolt that can be accessed. You can even do both. The more the merrier when comes to grounding.. That may solve your problem

Are there any electricians in here? Toyota men I'll like some help please.
when the ac is on my step up unit doesn't activate. I the idle air control unit is working because when I use a tester and ground the black wire with blue stripe, it activates and the car idles up. I thought the wire was shorting so I went from the brain under the dash and it works fine when grounded.

So my question. Is there a relay that activates the step up unit? what can cause it not to activate?

Looking to buy either 2008 Fielder wagon or 2013 corolla from showroom.

Just a few questions.

I am aware the 2007/2008 Fielder is cheaper but,

1. What are the differences between the local and f-used engines ( 1.5/1.6/1.8 )
2. IF the f-used engines are in fact different, can original parts be sourced locally.
3. Need info on ride comfort and especially fuel economy.
4. Any known issues with both vehicles.

Any feedback is much appreciated, would be nice to know your preference as well between the two.

thanks

This is not the correct spec oil Adoni. I used to use this body oil and ran into some rattling problems. Changed to correct spec oil 10/30 and it stopped. Check your service manual and you'd see base on our location/temp etc.

I changed the front wheel bearings on my 5yo local nze 3 mths ago.
Now it sounds as if the bearings making noise again. Is that normal for wheel bearing to go bad in such a short period of time?
And should i pay TTTL $675 a bearing to replace them with originals?

This brings so many questions into play. Did you use original wheel bearings or substitute ? Who did the install for you and were they pressed in and out correctly ?

Bearings don't go bad that quickly so something has to be investigated a bit. On the other hand, I have heard of persons experiencing a "bad batch" of bearings.

My bearings are due for changing as well and yes I am going with originals but not from Toyota.

This sounds like a fuel starvation issue.
