thanks

Since timing beIt was not mentioned, I take it this engine is a chain drive engine and doesn't need any special attention at the 100K mileage for the chain

Plugs - Check the existing plug and get an iridium version from Denso or NGK. 1NZ come with short tip and long tip plugs, so you need to check.
Oil - 10W30
Oil filter - Fram, Purolator, Luberfiner. Avoid filter brands that start with the letter S
Tranny fluid - Toyota T-IV or Mobil JWS3309. Nothing else.

I use toyolink for parts and service.

636-4865

He has most the OEM service parts in stock at better prices than the dealer.
Also, he can supply the labour to install the parts is required.

thanks guys

as for the filters I am an advocate of the Sakura, been using them on all of the Mitsubishi and they work very good in my experience with them

using them for 10,000km service intervals and really can't complain. I actually avoid the filters that start with the letter F

now is it that the S brand filters do not hold up in the Toyota engines? if so i will take your suggestion under advisement as I have pretty much little experience with the yota's

1. Sakura air filters for the Tiida always collapse, allowing unfiltered air into the engine.
2. Made in Indonesia, meem trust them at all. Dont't worry about the Japan that's printed on the box. Fake.

New Fram is alot better than old Fram with the bad reviews from way back when.
