rx 70 1jz

Postby Information Officer » April 19th, 2018, 11:30 am

Guys, can any of the 1jz guys share some advice
I recently installed a Japanese foreign used 1 jz non-turbo vvti in my rx70 Cressida

I need some advice on the suspension, the car dancing all over the place, the suspension naturally weak. any suggestions?
also, the transmission did not come with a speedo sensor, this engine was getting that signal from the ABS which the Rx 70 don't have. any advice will be appreciated. I want to get a sppedo meter working and a tachometer

Basically, Cressida and Mark II are the same chassis, if you lucky to get springs and shocks from a foreign Mark II that came with a 6 Cylinder, it should hold good.

There is a Head Up Display unit being sold on Ebay which shows Tac and Speedo, it Jack's into the diagnostic port, but you have to know if it's OBD I or II.

You can either go with coilovers for the 70 or put s13 stuff but would ruin the ride. Stiffer bushings in the back would help the wiggling

Hi I have foreign toyota Mark 11 grande shell which has independent suspension and shocks and also the entire differential and rack and pinion for sale. THAT will solve your problems as it did mine
