Sounds like an electrical problem.
The NZE141 has electric steering.
Your battery is OK I suppose.......still under warranty. Too, it starts the car.
When you turn the steering the steering motor takes a lot of current.
If the supply is not enough, the ignition system suffers and the car shuts off.
This happens with a bad battery after you take a jump start. The car will start yes, but turning the steering will take so much current that the engine shuts down, as at idle the alternator cannot supply enough. This is very trying in traffic situations.
Check the alternator for it's rated output. A little current may keep the battery charged, but not enough to keep up with the demands of a running car.
Check the battery cables for tightness at each end.
And also the grounding points between engine and chassis.
Original engine-ground wires go bad with the constant shaking of the engine.(more so in older cars)
Sometimes it is wise to install your own dedicated ground wire on a solid engine member and the chassis.
I hope this would be useful.
Peace.
