Hey everyone, I know the 4g93 is an old baby right now, but anyway, I build one 4g93T GDI engine in my Mitsubishi Carisma. It normaly has the N/A GDI, but I feel like I needed some power. Sadly I had to use the ecu and (after some minor modifications) the whole wireing of the old engine; it is running now error free, after some work.
My problem is an high frequency noise like.. a bee or something. It appears only in idle, as long as I give the engine some load, it is gone. it seems to come from near the high pressure pump. Does anyone know what it could be?

The timing belt is new, the engine oil is new (I used 0w30 Aral super tronic g with ACEA A3), and the whole engine seems to be dry, and in good conditon. Even the hydros seems to be real quiet.

Have GSR CM5A 4G93T Gaskets 0.8mm & 1.5mm as well as New Head Bolts to handle higher boost.

That wrong info you will have to do mods to the manifold. The holes are about 1/8 off of each other, Been there done that.

custom making my own 93t tubular manifold...

watching too much 93t builds making 3-4 and 500hp and some with 300-350hp but extremely quick and even destroying 400hp cars easy

so i got my car back after the conversion....works great...didnt have any leaks or anything like that. I changed fluids after running the car for 3 weeks. upgraded the spark plugs to some iridium and there was an instance improvement on the throttle response. custom cold air intake, boost is still stock not 100% sure how much stock is cuz i keep hearing different figures from different people. raising to 12 psi month end when i install the exhaust and intercooler. then management in october ( that costing alot dread ) so hoping to make about 200hp by the end of the year with some other minor stuff....next year 250.. *crosses fingers*

Oh also when I removed my head I noticed the original gasket was a paperish type. So metal should do me good

Which thickness should I go with? I want about 14psi boost max

A guy had came by me for the GSR 4g93 stock turbo for his cs2 that had a gdi 93t.

My turbo out was on top and he wanted the one below, can't remember his name but I believe you would be on this thread.

If you haven't gotten a turbo with the outlet below, gimme a call as I know someone who has one.

Good Day Tuners,

I have a slight problem ( I hope ) and I'm in need of some guidance. 4g93gdi turbo engine. MAJOR loss of power in the lower end of the power-band. car takes forever to accelerate to 50kmph (driving at a steady pace) then rockets off from above 50kmph. If I take off from a stand still while giving more gas i.e driving hard, car works fine. Also car stutters as though its gasping for air when it tries to change gears on auto mode. from 2nd to 3rd it stutters and "bucks" I have to either press down harder for it to gear down and shift therefore driving hard for no reason from a steady pace. or release the throttle and then go back on it hoping the gear changes right this time. car works fine on tiptronic minus the loss of power. I also need someone who can source and install piece of the harness that leads to the compressor (its not getting power, tried everything and my mechanic came to that conclusion), as lines had already been vacuum and gas was topped up. car works fine otherwise its just this issue and the lack of AC has my girlfriend and my mom on my case 24/7 and my current mechanic is too busy at the moment. I'd appreciate if anyone can share some insight or point me to a mechanic who can assist preferably someone who isn't biased against GDI technology with experience working on these engines.

Thanks in advance
