Both Whiteline and SuperPro have those bushings for your car. Check their websites, I just did. If your car is equipped with the 4B11 engine select the 117kW option.

I haven't found anywhere online yet that sells it though (only found the large ones so far).

Will give McEnearny parts dept a call to see if they sell it, although the couple times I called for info they never willing to give any unless I give them my vehicle number, which they won't have as it's RORO.

I got parts for my FU recently, try south

What AWOL said. Thats a damn good price if its the Diaqueen CVT fluid.
Somehow I doubt it is though - prob normal transmission fluid.

The next set of nexxens installed , although marked 225/50 is slightly smaller asscompared to the first.
Installed on rear and no rubbing.

ABS Service Required

Postby dredman1 » December 31st, 2014, 4:25 pm

Hey guys, some help please. My question is highlighted in red below (not a good way to end the year I know). But first some background:

From pg. 51 of this thread
Team Loco wrote:update guys........sho blight apparantly pass by me. my car is practically sold but still on my hands. as you all know, last mth, DM changed the front right ABS sensor. ABS light and check engine light was on. i got it changed under warranty. on saturday, the light came on again. this time the front left sensor is gone. WTF!!! going in tomorrow to get it replaced. but i think they are out of stock.
anthonyanthony wrote:TeamLoco how you know which sensor , do you have a scan tool?
Team Loco wrote:I know its the front left because at a standstill I am getting a sort of clicking sound from there. The abs is coming in on the front left wheel alone but it causes the pump to run intermitantly
So I got the "ABS Service Required" warning on my info display when I started the car to leave the office today :( A short time after while slowly driving home, the Check Engine Light came on  In my mind I was like WTF is happening???

I immediately pulled over and scanned the error with my ScanGauge which showed code P1773, which means the CVT computer has detected an abnormality in the ABS computer - basically an ABS fault that will affect operation outside of the ABS system.

Read more here: http://www.justanswer.com/mitsubishi/47 ... z3NVWqceSD

So anyway, from that link above and the experience of Team Loco and others here in this thread, I gather the problem is a faulty ABS sensor, for which my angus is not peppered for Diamond Motors' prices.

Now I'm able to locate the original sensors online at much better prices, and I'm fairly confident I can change these out myself. However, my issue is how can I scan/check to see which sensor is faulty (the FL, FR, or one of the rears) if there's no noise from the ABS pump as Team Loco heard with his car?

Seeing as the FL and FR are different part numbers, and the rears also have their own unique part numbers, I need to know which one to buy (since they range from US$185 - $230)

Where did you get the scan done at that price AWOL? And please don't say DM, because my car is a RORO - I don't think they will take nicely to doing that for me.

You have a ScanGauge as well? If you do, they only read and reset CEL error codes - it can't read the ABS system.

The part nos. I'm seeing online for the fronts are (left/right) 4670A575/6 , and 4670A579/80 for the rear left/right. I hope those are the upgraded ones - they're the only ones that shows up for the car on www.mitsubishipartswarehouse.com

Going to crawl under the car later to take a look and see if by chance one of the sensors came loose or if anything may need cleaning as the first steps, until I can confirm if a sensor is in fact faulty (and also which one).

Thanks - any contact info for the guy, or just call ACL/Massy?

I'll call round some other shops before as well to see if it can be done elsewhere. Arima kind far for me, so that will be the last resort.

If anyone knows anywhere else offhand that could do the ABS scan closer to Central or Barataria let me know please...

Happy New Year fellow CY owners!!!

@ZeroOne - From what I've been reading, the 2008 model seems to be most susceptible to it. That's not to say the other model years aren't, but it seems most prevalent with that year.

Not sure of anywhere locally besides Diamond Motors, and even then you might have to wait for them to get it in stock.

I brought mine in, purchased from Tirerack. Earlier in the thread someone else mentioned they brought theirs through Teknet (user W2J) on the forums.

I guess you could call around at some of the more popular parts places locally and see if they have or could direct you to where may have.

Hi guys, I'm contemplating getting the CY Lancer from Ansa and I'd like to know if maybe you can clarify some stuff for me.

I wanna go with the basic model which is $155K. I wanted some additional accessories which are:

- Alarm ($1500)
- Tint ($500)
- Fog Lamps ($2000)
- Flare Kit ($9500)
- Spoiler ($5000)
- Reverse Sensors ($2000)

With the additional accessories, I'd be paying $20K extra. What I wanted to know is, would it be cheaper to go with after market spoiler/flare kit/reverse sensors(maybe a reverse camera instead?) and is there anywhere over here where I'd be able to source these?

I don't mind paying for the alarm, tint and fogs but the others seem a bit steep to me.

You could probably get a FULL body kit for less than the what you was quoted there painted and installed.

See here for body kits:
http://www.andysautosport.com/body_kits ... /2014.html
http://www.bodykits.com/Mitsubishi/Lanc ... Body-Kits/
http://roadracemotorsports.com/store/in ... =1_123_125
http://www.body-kit.com/model_mit_lancer08bodykits.html

Alarm
Not needed, money will be better spent with Car Search or a decent GPS provider. If you want and alarm, go with a decent Viper with Remote start... DM usually installs a basic clifford alarm.

Tint
Get Llumar Window Film. It should cost around $450.00 installed. Don't take the crap tint from DM.

Fog Lamps
You can get this for around $600.00 (aftermarket) not sure about installation. (Check Bhola's Auto Body)

Reverse Sensors/Camera
You could get reverse sensors cheaper, as for the camera you could go with the OEM Part# MZ380462EX or aftermarket. You would also need to buy a decent double din head unit for the camera.

Or... just save all your money lol.

Figured they were way overpriced! Just trying to milk people...

Thanks a lot though...Really appreciate it!

BTW: Another question, which would you choose for features, driving experience and re-sale; Lancer, Yaris or Corolla? Haven't gotten a chance to check out Toyota as yet but those vehicles are about the price range I'm looking at. Bear in mind that I'm a tall guy (6'4") so space is also an important factor.

Not sure bout the new corolla with leg and headroom but it's predecessor didnt have nowhere near enough room and got crossed off my mental list. I have a CY lancer. I'm 6'-6" and i don't need to drive with the seat all the way back.
One thing to note almost all cars that have a regular sunroof have about an inch or so less headroom in order to house the sunroof mechanics
