dredman1 wrote:Anyone here with a CY4A changed the radiator on their car with an aftermarket one? My OEM one sprung a leak, so I'm looking at replacing and trying to verify if an Evo X radiator would work.
Looking at Mishimoto's website, it seems their Evo X radiator fits the Outlander (no mention of the regular Lancer in the "also fits" section). However, checking the part number for the Outlander radiator, it comes up the same as that for the regular Lancer.
Also, would the existing fans and fan shroud be a direct bolt in "plug and play" fit?
Just trying to verify my research thus far before I pull the trigger.

After some more research, I ended up ordering a Mishimoto Evo X radiator. It seems it should be a direct bolt in. Will update once I get it in the car.

Have the cy2 ie the 4a91 1.5L engine.
Looking for the bosch FR7SI30 plugs as recommended in the service manual.
All am getting elsewhere is the NGK FR6EI plugs which is for the cy 4 2.0 L engine.
