Wow..... For shocks for less than the cost of 1 oem. Is the ride different from oem?

I can't recall the cost of one OEM shock but $2,600. in KYB shocks ($1,100. for the back pair and $1,500. for the front pair) was not bad at all. The ride was still soft and nice on the stock 16x6.5 rims with Dunlop SP Sport LM703 205/60/16 tyres. I found the handling limits of the car to be very high and thus the stock wheels was actually inhibiting the vehicle's potential. So I swapped out to 17x7 rims on Dunlop Direzza DZ102 225/45/17 tyres and the ride got firm but very passenger friendly still in terms of ride comfort especially on rough roads. It was a nice trade-off since handling improved SIGNIFICANTLY.

The rotors were designed for the Lancer GT (a nice upgrade) and I installed rear GT stabilizers with front and rear strut tower braces. The rear is not easily noticeable since it is installed right above the flooring of the trunk behind the backseat and the carpeting will cover it easily. The mount points in the Lancer is lower thanks to the IRS design.

GT oem shocks are stiff compared to 1.6

Sorry for the late response but I got the red jdm sport pair from amazon.com back in sept 2015 but I see that it is unavailable at this time. You can get the front upper from Megan racing which is in stock at the moment.

Folks I just want to confirm the petrol used in the following:
4A91 - premium
4A92 - premium
4B10 - super
4B11 - super
4B12 - super

Let me know if the above is correct and if anyone putting super in their 4A9X engine and experiencing 0 issues.

Thanks

4a92 Super with an occasional octane booster.. Works great!
Most mileage I got thus far.
