Guys,

not sure if this was discussed before

I am not seeing any CY2 or CY4 Lancers coming from Singapore

I have seen Galant Fortis (CY4A) from Japan

I would have expected that these would have been brought by the roro dealers similar to the way the CS3 Lancers were brought

I am seeing similar aged vehicles from different manufacturers at teh roro dealers

Nissan Tiida, Teana, Sylphy

Toyota Corolla

Mazda 3

Anyone know of the reasons?

or the powers that be killing off our brand?

Does anyone have the 0-60 acceleration times for this car? Online only seems to have stats for the 2.4 litre or 2.0 Turbo engines.

Use the original Mitsu CVT transmission oil its kinda expensive but you don't want to skimp on something so important...engine oil, I run Shell full synthetic 5W40 in the silver/grey bottle...it works great for me

I use AMSOIL 10w30 engine oil...its important to use the recommended tranny oil cuz just topping up with 1qt of the wrong oil could cause tranny failure

Installed a prosport fuel pressure gauge.
The kit also came with a t connector to install the fuel sensor .
I do not want to cut my stock fuel line hose so I am looking for a hose to use.
All I am getting at most auto shop is the ordinary gas hose which is soft as compared to the one installed on the car which is hard.
I am wondering if these can handle the pressure which is about 50 psi.

awol I believe the water temp gauge on the dash is enought, dont see the importance of oil temp gauge since I dont race or tow. Also these prosport gauges are costly , not expensive as apexi, defi or greddy etc but still plenty money.
The gauges I have is pracitical ie a volt, oil pressure and fuel pressure.
Again I ask the question can these gas hose handle the pressure ?

All my lancers have used the shell helix oils. IMHO it works well for Mitsubishi engines. All of thoes cars at the 100k service the engines were like new, no gum or discoloration. The new owners are well pass 400k on thoes engines using the same oils. And I was told there is still no gum and discoloration. Just my experience not saying you have to go with what I say.

people 2 things

1) who is the agent for craftsman garage doors , I have one that is no longer responding to the remotes ... it only works with the hardwire switch on the wall.
Tried reprograming / relearning the remotes but no sucess.

2) In the cy 1.5 lancer I am looking for the fuel hose connector /retainer.. ie what holds the fuel hose in the engine bay onto the fuel delivery rail...called diamond motors but they said they have never stocked this item.

I checked various scrap yars but no sucess.
