wtk air in gas tank

hey tuners...i have a ck2 lancer and recently i realized
that the gas tank was only showing 3/4 full after full up
after spending $$$ to change floatation device
fuses etc i was told that there is air in the tank
my question is...how do i get the air outta there...thanks

you have a container of liquid, that is vented to atmosphere by design, and you want to do what now?

So you fill it to the neck, and you think that somehow there is air UNDER this liquid?

Most likely the gauge cluster is the problem if the sending unit was changed and same symptoms.
