The 4g93 sohc should be able to fit easily. Same tranny should work.

How to know if you have a sohc or dohc 4g93 engine. My car '99 is a EA1A series Galant Vivace.

Post a pic.

Also a 4B10 in a galant is a little under-powered imo.

that alone I would tell you dont drive that car until you fix that noise.....which is usually the first signs that your bottom ball joint is about to snap. Which it can do at any moment any where during your drive.

Heard something like 55-6500$.
Expect to be around that price range.

Cool. By Bicks in Penal they have the 4G93 GDI engine and transmission for $6000.

Never saw a foreign used 4G93 sohc though. Is that price for engine and tranny btw?

Nah. Last price is 9500 with gearbox.

I tend to stay away from gdi engines as they need a bit more care and are a tad bit more prone to problems.

I hear ya. Was just asking since most, if not all foreign used EA1A and EA7A Galants came with GDI technology.

Tuners,

I was looking at the differences in ride height of the galants recently.

I have a RORO EA7A and on stock suspension, with 225/45/17 wheels. I have almost 4" of space on the front arches (like a van jed), ~2" in the back.

The EA1A's and EA2A's have a even ~2" all round, with the front looking slightly dipped.

I've been trying to compare with another EA7A but rim and tyre sizes and suspension were somehow always too different for a good comparison.

What do you see as normal?

My car always looking like it was just launched.

Musbe.

Would explain why it feels like a road boat now.

Car came with cut springs in front and coilovers in the rear. The front was too unpredictable so I went to the bamboo for the OEM assembly.

Gonna hunt for the right ones now.

Thanks for the insight.

Tuners pressure !!!

Need to get the complete engine gasket kit for the 4G93 GDI engine. Or at least the plug hole seals and rocker cover gasket.

Anybody knows where I can get my hands on this ASAP?

Would be greatly appreciated.

The one I saw is on a 4G15 gdi. Would it work on the 4G93?

Parts Tech in Penal had earlier this month for $5000. Their number is 647-5707. Can't comment on their price or quality because I've never bought f.u. parts for the VRG. If they don't have you can check the other places on the compound.

FU complete shock & spring sets go for around $250 a piece.

Finding them new has been challenging for me.

Parts Corner in the Bamboo (GB side) usually has in stock.

You can try Amazon for new springs. Just input your vehicle make, model and year info in the auto section. Bought new springs for a nissan vehicle from them already.
