libero sputtering

when i hit the gas i getting a sputtering like the engine choking......
sparks plugs change,throttle body clean out,injectors clean fuel filter change ,oil change but same result.when i clean throttle body it had stop but it start back again gettlin blue smoke out of muffler,
suppose to clean gas tank weekend to see if it have water tank in gas or i get bad gas :(

engine is a 4g15 dohc

hmmm have the same problem with mine but its the carb 4g15, still aint make the time to scrap the carb yet might just buy new and keep it as a spare till i upgrade... hopefully dem boys have an answer.... but doesn't blue smoke mean oil is burning somewhere?

yea but aint seeing no oil leak..will have to check engine seal..cause
my partner getting d same thing with his sr20 same stutter

you does have to top up your oil regularly? if so i aint no expert but for the burning you could try an oil treatment if the blue smoke stop or slow down it could be the oil rings.

oil level is d same,injectors and throttle body was clean by injector specialist,oil was changed,gas tank was clean out,fuel filter was change, they said it could be the piston rings or oil seal..:(

Put all d troubles aside an put a b14 engine in it. No problems after dat

Rambo88 some of us love our Mitsubishi engines and the b14 engine will drop the resale value of the car

I get that same issue with my cb3 lancer..... It only happened after a certain gas station visit..... I am starting to think it's the gas itself

Use of wrong plugs causes this. Do not use bk5eii. Use the older one its a lot bigger.but it is the correct plug d car comes with.
