4g63t ? never hear bout that one....

Not into the Turbo thing... a lil speed I'd like but I don't want anything too fast like turbo charge.

4g15 dohc from the ck lancer. Simple swap. Everything basically the same .

Tranny won't work.
Engine and trans go for 7k and engine and box for roughly 9.

I have a Cs2a and just swapped the 4g15gdi/cvt for a fuel injected twin cam 4g15 with automatic tiptronic from a ck2 and couldn't be happier.

The gdi was more economical on gas and prolly has a better take off from standstill up to about 40km but the ck2 setup feels more powerful and definitely makes for better driving and reliability. The tranny feels better and runs under less strain, my acceleration is better and faster to 100km...so you can't go wrong with the 4g15 dohc swap.

I have the mount. I just don't know what to do, the back mount is different on both engines, all the others worked perfect.

Well I used back the cs mount. I just used angle iron to make a new bracket for the mount to be bolted (pls don't ask for a pic!)

The bolt holes do not line up as you know., so I just drilled four holes in the angle bracket, which placed the new holes about two inches away from the original, then welded the angle and bolted the angle using the original mounting holes and mounted the mount to the new holes on the fabricated bracket

Ahhhh, nah no picts needed lol. my welder was thinking the same thing but i wanted to hear it from men that do it themselves, so yeah i'll confirm that the idea is a good one, thanks. I have it bolt up already (not wired yet), it's just the back mount hadda go in.

Man right now I running without a filter as I too yet have to figure out a space saving option that makes sense. I had the stock ck airbox in for a while but it looked to combustsome. But do not run it like me as you will have to be cleaning your iacv on the regular.

I am thinking to do a copy cat cai system mounting the filter in the fender well.
