Good morning people:

Having issues with my Pajero IO GDI 4g93 when the weather is hot and i turn on my a/c and the brakes is applied the vehicle gives me a rough idle and at times stalls. I then will have to turn off ac and restart not problems there. The engine light also comes on when the brakes is applied.

Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Firstly you should get the van scanned for errors seeing you getting a cel.
GDI priniciple should be the same whether in a van or car , i had that same issue with 4g15 gdi and it ended up being the air flow sensor.
clean throttle and iacv if you have,Not sure about pajero but 4g15 gdi doent come with a iacv and is controller by ecu and maf sensor. After i changed it out i noticed better idle and no stalls with ac on.

Sounds like a vacuum line leak.
As Nissan4life said, you will need to scan in order to properly troubleshoot.
