What they can do is weld 2 o2 bungs on top each other to move the sensor out of the stream.
Google spark plug non fouler 02 and you will see how people do it using a spark plug non fouler to get the same results

Yes. I have them. I will send you a PM, as 'advertising' in the forums other than Classifieds forum is disallowed and I don't want Dave to ban me

Thats good thing to keep.

Someone could use the gauges if their IP gauge broke. Your current IP will have to have rpm to do that though.

I changed my P-L bulbs to LED. Used the T5 bulb, removed the LED diode from the bulb casing and fitted it in.

if it works then Jade BH solved your problem.

Yep. Up to him though. He could simply just take the entire bulb and holder from your panel and replace it with what is blown on his own.

the engine is a 4G93 GDI....

Too cha nge that filter is alot of work and is expensive. The entire transmission will have to come down and be opened. Does not necessarily have to be changed. So about 6-7 quarts for a drain and refill, and about 8-9 if doing a flush.

My tranny is a F1C1A CVT Transmission .....do i have to use the Mitsubishi Genuine ATF SP III or can i use a next brand of oil? if so any recommendations?...

or can i use a full synthetic ATF which is compatible with MITSUBISHI Diamond SP-II, III Dia Queen J2 Dia Queen J3?

Use Mitsubishi Genuine ATF SP III, its specificly made for that transmission.

Think the J2 and J3 is for the CY lancer.

fred did you have an inspection of the engine bay after you heard the noise?
alternator belt could of burst, alternator makes whining or kind of growling noise on its way out there is also a noticeable burnt smell

Morning guys. Prepping to do a 200k service, this was a quote of prices I got from DM a couple months ago.
Is this an exhaustive list of the significant things I have to change? Other than oil and filters I guess, do I need to change transmission oil?

Also BH I will need to get some info about the lights for the dash and so on, car looks like a old string of Christmas tree lights right now.

Seems about right, evry 100k or so timing belt, tensioner and waterpump should be changed.
Not seeing the waterpump quoted.
At 200k why you still servicing at diamond motors?
call AUSCO in town, prices may be better .
Gates timing belt and tensioner are less than whats quoted, cam and crankshaft seal price seems about right. When you decide to change timing belt, its better to change everything on that side of the engine. Dont want to be going back there for a burst seal or failed impeller on waterpump
SP111 cvt oil should be used (autorama in elsocorro have the geniune mitsubishi oil). I change mine every yr and half to 2 yrs and never had any issues with tranny.

Tried searching but not sure if it was discussed ^^^sorry for bypassing the thread.
So I had some idling issues with the 4g18 engine
Diagnosis said it was the iacv so I changed it but now I'm getting different idling issues
Heard I was supposed to get it scanned and relearn
So my question is where could I get this done preferably in south?

^just reset the brain. Make sure car is warmed up, disconnect negative pole of battery, nah brake pedal for approx 10s, reconnect negative pole, turn on ignition, wait a couple seconds and then start, leave car to idle for about 10-15 mins with AC off and do not touch gas pedal.
When you first start, idle should be high, it will slowly come down over the minutes

Hi guys, I have Mitsubishi lancer but it’s one of the Gulf area one type GLX, 4G18 1.6L SOHC engine. I want to swap with 4G94 2.0l SOHC for extra HP. Can anyone tell me if this engine is direct fit or not and will it goes with the same CVT transmission?
Thanks
