I have read horror stories about almost every brand of oil, it seems like it's down to personal preference, climate, driving style, maintenance habits, present condition of the engine etc.

Mobil 1 extended life said it's good for 10000 miles, but I ain't leaving it in there that long at all. It's cheaper to change oil & filter than an engine.

Read carefully the limitations, and characteristics of the oil, talk to other folks about their experiences and their maintenance cycle then make your decision. Keep in mind your experience may be different.

Please give more details on your statement, I'm curious the find out more info because I keep hearing different views about RP among other brands either negative or positive.............How are you not sure the bearing was not bad already.

did this and works well on a turbo car...

used the mobil 1 works great...

tried the royal purple in a WRX, the recommended 10w 30 worked great, but because of the viscosity of the oil and our weather i would recommend the 15w 40 for the scoobs...am using this right now, no problems thus far...hopefully

oh oem filter recommended nothing less!
