Ohhh I spoke to a guy who was having an issue with the throttle body on his local Legacy. Said the car was lazy.
The Singapore parts apparently is difficult to get especially since massy don't stock parts for the Legacy anymore as I was told.
I would recommend getting a second/third opinion on it. Several things can cause the car to feel lazy.
1. Fuel delivery and atomization
2. Fouled plugs
3. Low compression
4. Failing MAF sensor
The throttle body role is not too complicated and I believe it can easily be ruled out.
So it's always good to get a proper diagnosis done...
If the technician said the throttle body is bad giving a logical explanation that's a sure +. Faulty throttle body would cause drivability issues imo.
