LF/WTB sti 6 speed dccd gearbox. I checked the usual places, gobin has a few but the prices are kinda steep. I know he has good parts but damn I didn't know that the 6 speed boxes were so expensive. Lance where did you get your 6 speed gearbox?

How much they go for locally these days? I still have my ear to the ground here in the UK so I can tell you if it's still an option to source one here

Well 25K for the 6mt dccd gearbox (no clutch, pp, or flywheel) and 3k for the matching R180 rear diff.

What about the driveshaft, rear axles and rear spindles? Are those included as well? You'll need those too.

The 25k is just for the gearbox alone. I also have to source a drive shaft and the sti rear axles.

Generally speaking you can source a DCCD 6 speed box with the 180 diff and driveshaft for about £1500,. At the current exchange rate that will put you at about 13,000. You can source it from ebay and have it shipped to a freight forwarder in London (InterIsland shipping for example).

Shipping etc. might run you another 4,000

The 5x100 STi rear hubs are incredibly difficult to get and are a bit pricey. For a solution, you can contact The Driveshaft shop. They do a conversion rear axle. It a hybrid axle that has an r180 end on one side and an r160 on the other. It will bolt right up to your wrx hubs.

See if you can get a rolling shell for a gc8 sti ra, complete parts swap and sell off the other parts or even a complete 02 sti imported
