Any Hydra Tuners?

Roommate picked up a built GC8 with Hydra Nemesis installed.
The current tune on it is pooo and leaves ALOT on the table powerwise. I'm going to re-tune it for him but this will be my first time tuning a subbie.
Any tips or tricks I should know about with the Hydra? So far I'm not very impressed with it as far as options/tuner- ability you get for the price.
Does anyone have a spark map for a stock '04 sti? Or know where I could find it?

Just discovered hydra requires excel to save the data logs
lame!! :fist: Half hour worth of data logging lost. Now I gotta go find/install office.

First conquest... got it running. Stupid hydra lost all the crank trigger settings when I removed the password lock on the tune.

The map is for a stock 2004 usdm sti. Maybe with some bolt ons.

My roommate's GC8 that I'm screwing around with has (drivetran wise):
Engine:
ej257 STi short block
2001 SOHC RS heads ported and polished
cosworth bearings
mahle forged pistons 8.3:1 CR
Tech Works Engineering stage 2 cams
Titanium valve springs and retainers
ARP head studs
Garrett GT3076R
FMIC
35mm TiAL Sport external WG
Greddy BOV
Walbro 255HP
Outback Motorsports fuel rails
Aeromotive adjustable FPR 1:1
Bosch 850cc injectors
Methanol injection (fitted but not set up)

Transmission:
Ver 7 JDM STi 6-speed (suretrac front and rear, minus the DCCD)
Spec 3+ clutch
R-180 Rear Diff

That's all the stuff that really matters tuning wise anyways. Got other sheit here and there.

Anyways, currently working with Phil @ http://www.tunerstudio.com to integrate Hydra data logs into Megalog Viewer.

[rant]Hydra data logging blows. Seriously the only option offered is to dump the data into excel? lame.[/rant]
