subie guys using ACT heavy duty PP...

Postby Mad Antz » November 14th, 2012, 9:22 am

I realised many guys are using the act heavy duty pressure plate with a street and strip clutch, as am I.

I have had my forester for about 4months now and after the 1st month i noticed the clutch master cyl leaking, so i replaced the internals with japanese replacements.

6weeks after it leaks again. so i decide to relpace the cylinder with a fu. now when you place a slight pressure on the pedal it drops slowly showing that the fluid is passing the rubbers.

Also if i am making qwk shifts the pedal sticks down and sometime in traffic it would grate when i put in first but if i relased the clutch and press again its fine.

if anyone can offer a solution for this problem i would greatly appreciate it.

:(

I had this problem once before, it had to do with the clutch release adjustment.
