While waiting for plate. I change air filter, oil and oil filter, diff oil, and coolant. Want to change brake fluid and power steering fluid.

Next.going to check brake shoes and pads tomorrow

Not bad. Not bad at all. A guy on tuner has a set of those rims for sale. I prefer them in silver though.

Finally got my plate this week. So going rim shopping tomorrow. From my research all rims are not created equal. A lot of pretty rims but many are cheap knock offs. What is the average price of enkei in 16 or 17s?

Original enkeis are $6000 up for 17" be cautious when buying as the imitation are almost exact. Price was the last i was shopping for rims end up buying some bbs now.

Thanks alpha I am running currently 225/45/17 dunlops sp sports max but going to change them to 224/45/17 toyo proxes within thr month or so..

Drama. Bought rims today. Had to return them because they were used. I paid for new rims and got used rims. Got my money back. But the hunt continues. On the positive size I found a shop selling dunlop direzzas 225 x 45 x 17 for $750 for one.

ways, youre lucky to get back the money .... the Dunlop direzzas are good grip but it gave a lot of noise with my legacy so be aware of the first drive out of the tire shop ... nexxens n3000 gave me 2yrs with no noise and now the sumitomo HTR Z III are riding the same =]

Got rims. Got them at tire trac. Same ones that I returned in south. But they moly had sailun tyres. So going south on Monday to get direzzas. Unless someone can recommend a better tyre in the $800 price range . Does the 225 x 45 x 17 touch? Shud I go with a thinner tyre like 215?

I paid about 700 for 1 ... 225/45/17 , but that was just over a year ago.

ok the Dunlop is a better grip but youre not going to rally with the car =] , and then too it made a disturbing road noise with the legacy , and it also has a rim guard lip which made the car look awkward ...

and compared to this look, notice how it appears to fill up a little more space and looks more rubbery.

15 is stock in this car sadly. Go 17, notoriously difficult and expensive to find good 16 tyres

the ride is like a carpet =] .... cause I have reduced to 17s , the pic above is 18s . In terms of durability, its very good cause its been over a year and the tire has a lot to go ... but this is dependent on how you drive and alignment .. I also rotate every 5000km =]
