stock engine/ gearbox max power?

thinking about building a gc8 model wrx. it has a stock motor and gearbox. anyone knows how much power each can take before needing to be rebuilt/ upgraded?

Main problem is that you will need a piggyback. Gc8 can't be tuned via a cable.
