Alot of the USDM parts on ebay won't work. However if you do get the part numbers you can easily find them on ebay from the same sellers as they 'sometimes' stock JDM parts.

When I here 20k for d40 head and block the decision was easier plus owning a diesel vehicle in t&t Imo is a ticking time bomb.

If you looking for something short term, maybe the Navara is for you. You save on fuel but maintenance is where you will feel the costs.
Most of the Subaru's that were maintained properly held up pretty great on the nations roads. They are quite durable and I really dont know of anyone with complaints (impreza owners).

I use Liquimoly 5W40 on mines. Still too new to know if it makes a difference, $480 a gal, 100 for a genuine filter and free change at Federal

Guys, need some more info on the gh2 subie. Interested in purchasing one but I am looking for a reliable and economical vehicle in which maintenance, parts availability and cost is hassle free and affordable. Would like to hear some of your experiences in terms of fuel economy, reliability, parts availability and cost. Really looking for something to minimize downtime that can be repaired easily if needs be.
Please share whatever your experiences with this vehicle so far.

My friend purchased a Subaru WRX STI for sale from a Japanese trading car platform (https://carfromjapan.com/cheap-used-sub ... i-for-sale). Although it's a used car, it's a great one and he's very satisfied with it. I think Subaru is a reliable brand you can trust.
