Good day all
my stock up pipe is cracked & also stock headers have some small leaks in my sg5 forester, already got an aftermarket up pipe with flex & my co-worker also gave me aftermarket headers (don't know brand) with slip joint & was wondering how reliable are headers with slip joints with regards to leaking from the joints.
was studying to fit them up & weld off but from all i found online welding them seems to be a bad idea as they may crack. other ideas i saw was either t-clamps or lap-clamps??? now i'm wondering if to replace the slip joints with flex pipes.
any suggestions???
