08 legacy turbo spark plugs

What is the best spark plugs to use on a stock 08 subaru legacy turbo NGK LFR7AIX(one step colder) or ILFR6B(stock) ?

The one step colder option..especially if your car is tuned and accounting for our less and than ideal fuel spec.

Stick to the ILFR6B. learned the hard way. It can take a lot of upgrades, even added boost.

Went thru two sets of the LFR7's in a couple weeks. It caused bad breakup on WOT acceleration, each time I just ate the cost.

^^ Sounds like your car has other problems..probably not plug related. Your results seem very untypical of those who use one step colder plugs.

Were you messing with the plug gap on the LFR7AIX?

Tried them out of the box, breakup. Confirmed gap to manuf recommendations, breakup.

ILFR's went straight in, and caused no issues. I used these up to 18PSI on a Hybrid VF37/20G turbo up over 350 whp.
