Hey guys, recently got a 1.6 Singapore BJ and just read through all 69 pages of the thread! I've already got a few upgrades planned including suspension and brakes, if I can find them.

I will be installing a Bluetooth head unit and would like to know how to go about removing the finishers around the centre console to get to the deck? Also, are there any factory holes/grommets in the firewall that I can use to run a power wire from the battery to an amp?

I'll also be doing an ATF drain and refill soon and intend to install a transmission cooler while I'm at it. However I recall someone saying earlier in the thread that the BJ tranny doesn't have a strong pump and that too large a cooler may cause failure. I have a Hayden 403 cooler measuring 12.5" x 7.5" x 0.75". Is this an acceptable size? Should I run the cooler in series with the radiator or blank off the radiator lines and run direct to cooler alone? Also, will I have to remove the grill and bumper to install it?

Thanks in advance.

u have belly to read all that lol .. for the console u dont need to take out the finisher to take out the deck .. it has tabs at the side of the deck itself ... it has a hole where the clutch pedal supposed to be if u dont plan to go manual so u can pass the wire tru there ... that size cooler should be good and i blanked the rad one ... yes removing the bumper will make the job easy

I tried a couple of those but it wouldn't budge. The keys were actually stuck and didn't want to come out. I had to use a pliers to pull them out and the little notches on them got bent backwards.
