I had a tyre that was "cupping" that sounded like bad bearings!

lazytrini wrote:Hey guys, hoping someone can help. My driver's door in my M3 won't open. It just stopped randomly one morning and won't respond to alarm-remote or key. Two straighteners opened it up from the inside and gave up because the lock is encased in something they can't reach. A couple of alarm installers told me they couldn't help either. Anyone had this problem and/or can recommend someone who might be able to help with the problem? Thanks in advance.

Had this problem with my Mazda 6. Had to buy the entire lock/actuator assembly from Southern Sales and I carried it by my straightner to change it.
He does work for Southern Sales so he has experience with these things.

This is a common problem in newer vehicles. I had to replace a few already.

Looking for an Alternator for a 2006 Mazda Axela 3 sedan. Tried the whole of Bamboo in vain.
The tag on the alternator shows a very small drawing of the electrical socket with P and D written in it.

The tag also has:
Z J 10 B and
A3TG2881A
12V 90A 6627

written on it. The tag is located just above the socket on the alternator.

The socket has TWO (2) pins
and the alternator has a clutch pulley

Please call me at 687-4976 if you have any info.

Highly recommend servicing the egr and injectors together on this car, also get a diagnostic done to make sure that O2 sensor is fine. Consider engine decarbonizing as well.
