Dash restoration

Postby rookiespeed » September 30th, 2016, 2:31 pm

Presently i am doing a first generation restoration, and the dash board is in a mess. Can anyone suggest products I can use to fix cracks on dash board ? Many suggested reupholstering the dash or getting a original dash cover, but I am looking for a solution that can give me back as close to an original appearance.

dunno about cracks, but this guy repainted his dash with great results:

with a quick google, I found this as well:

I don't have the time or patience to do either though, thing like that would make me look at buying a new dash or selling the car

dont mean to be picky, but if youre doing a full hose resto like you are... why would you use a later model airbag dash and steering wheel?
