Compliments of the season to all. I have been having a problem with my car the last couple months now, but because of circumstances could not get around to troubleshooting till now. The engine is in a lantis model 323. The car would drive for about 10 to 12 minutes then cut off. It would tumble but not start unless you wait about 40 mins to cool down. then it starts good and works for another 10 to 12 mins. I've changed the coil packs, the coolant temperature sensor and the crank sensor so far. The fan cuts in and out as it should. I even installed an additional fan with a switch to try and keep it cool. Thing is, if the car parked up and idling, it would run continuous, the fans would come on and off, no problems, but if I put bit in a gear and raise the rpm to about 1000, within a minute it would cut off. then I have to wait for it to cool down to re-start. Any suggestions or solutions? Could this be a ECU problem, or a faulty sensor?
