FYI.....

WE Engine is a 3L not 2.5
WLC Engine is the 2.5 Automatic

Engine doesn't matter in this case, just that it is auto 4wd.

What did your electrician check?
Did he check if power is reaching the 4wd Control Module?
What about the relay on the side of the unit, did they check to see if power is reaching this point?
Did they test the relay?
Are the 4wd Lights illuminating on the dash board when you activate the switch?
Are you hearing the relay clicking(changing position) when you activate the switch?
Did you check the switch?
Are you hearing the front diff locking in place?
Did you check the power on your solenoid lock/unlock valves(located next to Brake Master Cylinder)?
Are you getting vacuum in the system at the solenoid valves?

Do you know if anyone ever worked on the system before?

I attached the wiring configuration.

Hey bro, thanks very much for your input and Info.. will have these other things checked... however, i know for sure the switch and the Control Module is working,.. i tried them in another Ranger and it worked... so thats ruled out.. have to check these other things now..

Electrician jus checked the fuses and switch,.. now i know the switch and the control Module box working, ill have the Relays and lock & free Solenoid checked..

Noting is clicking or lighting when the 4wd or 4L is activated, no noise from the front Diff Actuator nor the Transfercase Motor.. i checked the Vacuum lines and they seem good

oki guys i got tru today... went by a guy in curepe.. he suspected it was the Transfercase motor.. he removed the motor and tried it and the 4wd came on also the 4L... so the Motor seems to be the culprit.. however he re-installed the motor and its working.. so the motor is faulty..

anyone knows where i can get a motor to buy.. i dont think this one will last too long again

You could open the motor and see whats the problem, the navara ones can be opened , mark the gears with a paint pen as it has some sort of timing. Water was gathering in the one i opened.
