lowering a 2011 4x2 Ford Ranger

Looking for some feedback from fellow ranger guys about doing this and whats the best way to lower them to make the ride smoother.

Blocks on the rear and drop the front with torsion.

Did that before and it was the hardest ride ever! Want ideas to make the ride smoother

or have a word with scrappy.
rode in a 4x2 2 door ranger with 20" and my werrd. smooth, but stiff

was researching lowering, and most sites say blocks can be used if the axel is above the leaf springs. the rangers is below the springs. so how do the blocks work? the rear is currently 3 inches higher than the front, so a 3 inch drop will be good, but will this affect ride comfort if the stock leaf springs are used?
