LOL. Funny! Yup, checks with Lifestyle give the green light to use Super Unleaded.

Because of the octane ratings for both Super (92 RON) vs Premium (95 RON), it isn’t an issue for Suzuki vehicles to switch to Super (for those who choose to). On the other hand, Porsche engines are high-performance engines designed to operate with a high maximum compression and thus demand high-octane premium gasoline.

Burning fuel with a lower octane rating than required by the engine often reduces power output and efficiency one way or another.

I’ll continue using Premium, but many may choose to switch.

did you also double check with them? two opinions are better than one.

I put $40 super yesterday... and things are normal

Yeah Mini, today actually. LM getting plenty calls asking the same question. I suggested Bernard, he or Wayne should send out a customer advisory notice or something, so ppl don't go pouring all sorts of additives in their tanks, etc.

No price increase yet. But, I was told when there is a price increase (based on the new MVT), just as an example, the BASE $235 4x2 model would cost $251. The auto Swift, $155. My model SGV may cost $299 from $280.

Total madness!!

The Tucson is now the front runner, maintaining a stable price due to the low Korean Won vs the USD. The Yen continues to rise.......

well, in terms of loan installment difference, it really not all that to talk about. yes the Tucson maintains its prices and im sure it'll be marginally lower than that of the SGV. I guess the cheapest 5-door unibody 4WD SUV in this country continues to be the Daihatsu Terios which IMHO is a very under-rated crossover.

Tucson marginally lower? Apparently not.

$53,000. difference between both base models? Damn!!! With that difference I could get the Tucson GL 2WD and add:

- front crash bar
- rear bumper chrome bar
- side steps
- rear spoiler
- trade in 16" and get some 18" on Michelin's
- Remote starter
- chrome side view mirrors, door handles and rear wiper washer system
- xenon HID kit

and buy the wifey the new GPS system available in T&T. plus put Fully Comprehensive Insurance with all perils and dump $10k in the Unit Trust.

dunno if these Tucson prices still active but:

GL 4x2 petrol $182,000.
GL 4x4 petrol $207,000.
GL 4x2 diesel $222,500.
GL 4x4 diesel $236,000.

GLS 4x2 petrol $199,500.
GLS 4x4 petrol $233,000.
GLS 4x4 diesel $264,000.

I can get the GLS 4x4 as stated above for $233k which according to what you post is the equivalent to the JLX-AH for $280k. The SGV is the better overall vehicle hands down but for $47k difference, that hard for alot of people.

There are quite a few on the port. LM doesn't stock, they bring mostly based on orders. The new prices don't seem to be affecting new buyers much. :?

Cool. I'm seriously contemplating buying either the new 2.4 or the old stock 2.7 V6. I need power. :D
