how would you rate this car in terms of value for money, fuel economy, handling..etc.. my sister is thinking of getting one, she is upgrading from an almera and the little research i did seems to suggest its a good safe car, i myself own a 2007/8 GV and i am pleased with it in terms of value and features for the money.

how many airbags does the SX4 come with and is the engine competent to power the car or does it struggle, the 2.0 my GV has is underpowered and that is one of my sore points.

at the time, was one of the few cars that had alot for the price and warranty was also good
think they also had some deals going on

IMO suzuki is still being adopted as a Japanese car but they are doing very well at it
it has 2 bags in the front
the m16a is potent but my dad's local almera would run circles around it, maybe cause i see about it whereas the sx4 is dealer maintained for warranty purposes
it gets along good
it can also run on super gas

space may sometimes be an issue with the hatch but the sedan more than makes up for it

its wasn't a bad purchase and even though the vehicle is not pushed by any means, it does well with everything else

If he went head first into the windscreen, does that mean he wasn't wearing his seatbelt? Air bags or no air bags, you're still not supposed to end up hitting the windscreen.

And the thing is, most air bag system detect whether the seatbelt is on, and WILL NOT deploy if the seat belt is not on. It's always said, air bags are just the secondary safety system.

If he did have his seatbelt on then my condolences... that def means something was wrong.

Hey you have a valid point there...not sure if he did have on his belt cause if he did that suppose to lock him onto the seat ...He went down into a drain though......

anyone here knows what type of bulb the foglamp uses in the SX4 hatch? Just got one, but the rightside fog is dimmer, and its bothering me lol. It does not look like an H3.

The SX4 is a good vehicle. My gf has one and only major problem to date since she got it (4 yrs ago) was a busted ac evaporator which thankfully was replaced under warranty. Other than that it gets good mileage, is well equipped and sporty. Comfortable vehicle that will meet 99% of your commuting needs. Handles rough roads pretty good and if you need it you can get the AWD model.
