SX4 fellas,just FYI:

If you getting a noise in the front of your car, sounding like a knocking noise on your suspension on rough road, you need to change your front stabilizer bar rubbers and linkages. I took my car to the company, and the told me I needed to replace the entire steering rack and ends (at a cost of 17+k)  .
I just ordered the parts (stab rubbers and linkages) from rockauto and replaced them myself, and it's good as new.

^doubt it may be. My pops corolla did 120k+ kms on the same roads without a problem. Also know of some swifts with the same problem with lower mileage.

I would never compare a corolla's suspension to that of a suzuki

The Sx4 has a high profile tyre which should absorb some of the bumps of the bad roads.
I could understand that issue with the swifts and the less sidewall they have.

Suzuki peeps need your help getting the OEM part nos for the SX4 hatch for:

1. Front disc pads
2. Rear brake shoes
3. Rear shock absorbers

really looking for Hawk brand brake parts. Would also settle for KYB shock absorbers.

Thanks

Is the central locking not working?
Or is the immobilizer not working?

nothing works on the key remote... (the stock key/immobilizer)
i have to manually unlock/lock with the key and central locking works from the switch inside on the console as well as via the key(on the door)

Ensure that the battery is good in the spare key. I strongly doubt the immobilizer has failed, as its tied to the ECU.
I believe your first key is gone.
Let Lifestyle check it out though.

Its difficult to believe that 2 keys have failed. Will have to check how the immobilizer works in the sx4.. hopefully when i get home.
Usually, the key still has to transmit a radio signal to the ecu to allow the vehicle to start.
