For a econo-box...costs are a bit high imo. Especially if using oem parts. The below is an example of some items for the older model. 05-11. (Prices are rounded off to nearest hundred)
Not sure if these prices are still the same either, but it what i paid at some point.

Eg.
Coilpack- 1700
Dipstick-160
Rim centre cap- 175
Rotors-1500 each
Brake pads- 1100
Brake shoes - 900
Spark plugs - 60/set of 4
Oil filter- 110
Coolant- 600/bottle
Windscreen- 5000 for oem, 3500 for 3ply, 1700 for 2ply
A/c cabin filter- 400
Airfilter -175

Cant remember the rest...

Postby Patelle » November 27th, 2016, 11:49 am

Good Morning. So, I've decided to purchase a foreign used 2012 Suzuki Swift and I need the vehicle inspected, is there any good mechanic you guys can recommend? I want everything checked. The vehicle is located in Chaguanas.

Check Big Z on the forum. You can call or whatsapp him at 7347669. He can also put you onto someone in the Chaguanas area.

So, I have 2 questions:
1) Which in your opinion is better- Super or Premium for a 2012 Swift 1200cc engine? 2) What's the cost to change the A/C filter of the swift?

2012 Swift will work fine on super. No need to use premium if you dont have to.
No charge to change the AC filter. Will need to see it to advise on where you can get the filter.

I just bought a s/h 2013 Swift Sport and I was just wondering if it could work well with Super?? Or would it be Premium only.. It's my first Swift

Swift Sport uses premium only. It's actually supposed to use 98 ron, but will get by on our 95 ron premium.
Super is a no no in that car, unless you dont mind burning oil and rod knock.

My mistake, it's actually a 2012 swift sport, but point taken: Premium only.
Thanks

Where can I get a car cover for a 2012 Swift? Preferably a black?
