Engaging 4 x 4

Postby Most Wanted 101 » October 27th, 2018, 4:08 pm

Good Day,

I bought an automatic 2004 GV, can anyone advise on how do you engage the 4 wheel drive. Do you leave the vehicle in park or neutral?

Neutral
Keep front wheels straight
Put into 4h or 4l accordingly
Put into drive
Do all ur 4x4 bacchanal
Neutral and back into 4h when u ready to roll out.
Some vehicles may require you to reverse a few feet to after going from 4h/4l to 2h to completely disengage the 4x4.

Wrd

Hope you get thru

Also, due to the age of the vehicle,
Try to change out the diff and transfer case fluids if you know you gonna be offroading/4x4 a lot.
