Over exaggerating bumps?

Postby aaron17 » June 22nd, 2018, 7:38 am

I can't recall when my car was new if it used to happen though...
Over normal bumps are fine but like those other ones eg like flyer over to go by pricesmart (cuts which are opposite of bumps) sounds more exaggerated to me . It feels more metal than a normal absorption of the bump. Can anyone relate to this and advise me what to check? I think it sounds like that when I go over sliding gate tracks..I have to over it slow to not make that noise...hmmm

Pretty much fed up now changing speed sensors. Today I got the error. I went to check it and it said it need changing. Funny thing I changed that exact one recently. The guy told me that sensors always give trouble. Any body has input on this?
If it need a simple cleaning , how can I do that?

Buy good new ones from eBay , I bought from a seller from Germany for less than 20 euro including shipping to USA. No worries , I also have vcds so can scan you or anyone else (for free) to make sure you changing the right ones.

Good Afternoon,

I have recently experienced the Heat Exchanger/Heater p/n 1k0-819031e Core for my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta fail. I was told by BA that i should replace. I suggested t them that i discontinue use of that by capping the lines that feed it.

Has anyone experienced this problem and has it been done before without negative effects?

It's for the temperature controls to work. Without the heater, it'll b cold and colder. No harm will b done to the ac without it.

How exactly did it fail, is it leaking?

According to BA it is leaking. They said i need a new one together with a gasket.

Would any harm be done to the engine tho?

Who scanned it 4 u? Or may not b the throttle body. Could b the intake flap that switches between the supercharger n turbo. Call 4810310 Monday to check it out.

Ask 4 Karl, tell him Rodney gave u the number...

Postby juggernaught » August 30th, 2018, 5:10 pm

So on this pre Independence Day I have been inducted into the vw failed mechatronics club, the dreaded blinking spanner on the dash and reverse is not engaging, first time having this problem with the car 2 yrs in dropped it in to best auto today for them to check it out, hope I’ll be able to get goodwill of some sorts.

I honestly believe given the fact that all cars from best auto jettas in particular have this fault they should either stop selling/ importing them or do a progressive recall to replace all mechs as they fail on these cars one by one.

Sometimes jarring can cause some mechs to leak. That’s why I asked. Hopefully BA sorts you out with minimal fuss.
