That can’t buff off with some kind of solution?
Most of them get like that after some time.

I’m willing to but I want to see my options first. I really like the diamond cut look.

I'm thinking autosol...not acidic. But I believe it contains amonia. Might work better.

Hey have you all experience an intermittent high pitch buzzing sound while driving when you press the gas pedal?Trying to figure out what is that. I does hear it when I accelerate from a speed hump. Oh it could be the car didn't heat up for 30 mins of drive...

I think MU issue has been solved just based on the drop in posts complaining. I don't know much about the CTHD vs CAVD engines. Cynical me says some put super mixes maybe but who knows. Best bet would be to talk to someone working in the technical side in BA. They would see the real numbers.

I think cthd are the new engines that came with forged pistons already, eg the newer models.

I paid $28US for it from Rexbo. Installation was easy, done by local mechanic. Going on 1 year no issues

Guys have some tire noise on my goodyear eagle f1.Not sure where they coming from. Got some feedback from mechanics and tyre services persons. They say its tyre noise not bearing ones. Where I service my tyres...they manage to place it on a lift and found nothing...However they shown me when they push up the front tyre against the suspension .it makes noise like a creaking noise. Any advice on if you all experienced this? Noise usually heard after 80km/h and I usually do regular tyre services.Oh and a little more than a year ago I changed bushings.

There are a few simple tings that can cause tyre noise..
1. Improper inflation
2. Worn tyres
3.improper direction of rotation
4.poor manufacturer
5.rotation of tires
And the list goes on...

"Door lock controls
Master window control"

What are the problems? Also what is the cost of water pump replacement?

Both suffer intermittent problems, I can defer as its not a security issue as the issue is not opening rather than not locking unless you do it manually

Water pump replacement labour quoted at 2k

Over exaggerating bumps?

Postby aaron17 » June 22nd, 2018, 7:38 am

I can't recall when my car was new if it used to happen though...
Over normal bumps are fine but like those other ones eg like flyer over to go by pricesmart (cuts which are opposite of bumps) sounds more exaggerated to me . It feels more metal than a normal absorption of the bump. Can anyone relate to this and advise me what to check? I think it sounds like that when I go over sliding gate tracks..I have to over it slow to not make that noise...hmmm
