just ensure the transmission oil & filter was replaced at least twice in that mileage,in addition to the engine oil replaced on time as per service records. This should somewhat offer some sense of security for the sake of the turbo internals and respective seals.

Drive it at WOT to ensure the diverter valve is in order, though this maybe considered a maintenance part as its relatively affordable

^^correct!!these transmissions are more relaible than the previous models eh,but ensure its done...that 160k wil most likely be hway mileage which isn't as bad as most think....test drive in each gear while in tiptronic mode..

ya won't regret it...just comply with the maintenance and yoou will be ok...also the interior is way better quality than the outgoing, save for the driver side locking control, which may flake if it wasn't wiped each time you wash the car....the fats in the oil from your finger make it flake

Dont let them european cars scare you. USA and England are awash with any replacement part you need for relatively low cost. But seriously, have it checked by a competent mechanic first, and youll be ok.

and whatever you do NEVER use armor all on the interior. silicone accelerates switch flaking. use 303 aerospace protectant
