Hi all I am looking for suggestions on if to repair / import used / or locally buy used a transmission for my 2002 Audi A4 B6 1.8T FWD any suggestions on who and where to look, I would prefer buy a transmission but that would depend on cost.

I am getting a bearing noise was told it is the planetary gear also at take off i am getting a shudder.

Sorry for the late response. I've found a fluid change along with the right conditioner helps alot. For CVT trannys Automotive Supplies a CVT conditioner from BG, for non-CVT I've found the Lucus tranny treatment to be excellent. Had experience with both these scenarios.

thanks for your advice, I changed the fluid and filter, worked nice for a short time then back to the usual, I didnt know about conditioners.
