wtk: 20" rims on a4

Postby speedmind » May 22nd, 2014, 9:31 pm

Im looking to buy some 20" staggered concaved rims to replace my stock 17s on my 2009 a4 (ambiante plus). The online merchant is advising 20 x 9" front with 245/30/20 and 20 x 10" back with 275/30/20. Can anyone confirm this fitment. Looked at many forums but none specified this size ive seen clos options but US forums have different models with different suspensions so im not certain. Any help appreciated

Just don't look like a hilux when you're finished. Know of an a4 with 20's. No complaints from the owner but needs a 1" drop and rotor size to wheel ratio is a bit off, but that's just cosmetic.

Does Audi offer any variant of the A4 with 20s? Like even an S4 from that year might have larger wheels as an option to guide you. You may also have to fit suspension limiters too to be safe.

I had 19s on mine same sizing just smaller rim and I had no problems in regards to rubbing etc, only problem was Trinidad's lovely road surfaces. In addition to the 19s I had tein s-tech springs for about a 1.5" drop all around.Gave the car much better road feel and the body roll was reduced greatly excellent improvement for spirited driving not to mention the extra rubber was just great, however when it came time for tyres I had to order them in advance, caught my arse to get 19" tyres in any size.
