Transmission is 8spd ZF used in high powered BMW

This van primarily created for South America and can stand up to our piss poor diesel.

In any event its probably too new to gather ownership opinions here.

Perhaps check an aussy or south american forum?

At Best Auto - Amarok on sale $299K . It was $350K . You can get bed liner, side steps etc. Biggest tray !
It drives like a car when the tray is empty . No side curtains in back though.

All international reviews gives it a high grade . Some TT mechanics are saying " no issues "

But not seeing many on the road.

Well, correct, it have alot in South America, and yes their diesel is far better than Trinidad.

Also no issues at all, most companies I see using them. Or already switched from Toyota and the Isuzu.

Amarok owners join this discussion and tell us about your truck ... Or why you purchased and any issue to date.

Test drove one and it was smooth and car-like. Reviews are all good. But safety in back seat is non-existent.

The specifications and price seem to be on target when compared to other offerings .

The truck is very new to speculate on re-sale value .

Maybe the target market is the business executive .. any they keeping quiet :)

Anyone owns an Amarok ?

There was a price change $350K to now $299K ( i.e. 2016 Model .. 2017 Model coming soon )

Want to know about any issues with this truck and the service at Best Auto Limited (BAL).

Southern Sales partnership with Massy ran the Volks to the ground, but with Massy now in full ownership, any change in BAL dealer's service ?
