These SUVs are pretty cheap right now, but I won't recommend it unless you are a mechanic, or at least getting the 3.0lTDV6 equipped model (same as the Q7) which is still kettle vs frying pan

now understand what i said clearly... i never said they are shitty engines or trouble engines. the problem is the diesel.
the 2.5 diesel is a bit more capable of handling our diesel quality. but still..... ..
the best ever touareg is a petrol. Massy brought in only one. and that one still pumpin! just goes in for regular maintenence and wear and tear issues.
and as far as i am aware they suffer no transmission issues.
