I would stick to the 2.8 duramax over the 2.5 due to more online parts support. They are excellent pickups and they just released the 2017 model which GM made a lot of improvements on. It's worth it.

I saw the 2017 at Lifestyles very nice the 4x4 auto is 265K with lots of features. How are the Colorado holding up? They have much more kit then the Hilux and Frontier.

The Colorado shares the same GM GMT31XX platform as the D-Max and they are strong pickups especially in Z71 off-road trim. The North American spec Colorado which has many similarities with the International version got some good reviews as well.

If you buy the Colorado for $265k which includes the $25k advertised discount for the fully equipped model. It means this Chevy pickup is $80k cheaper than the most fully equipped Hilux from TTTL. If 5 years down the road the person who buys the $345k Hilux sells it for $180k and you get $100k for your Colorado, would you say your van had no resale value?

I don't know what kind of strategy these dealers using
Of course sales on a $300k Colorado would be slow. $265 is attractive tho
Like $350 for an Amarok??? When a fully loaded NP300 was $300 and Hilux was $340? Of course only a few ppl would take that risk. Even at $300 now it's still a difficult choice
